Traditional polyethylene or polyurethane foams cannot withstand the temperatures to which the profiles are subjected in the powder coating ovens.
For this reason, STAC presents a new solution – high-spec foams with thermal resistance which can withstand temperatures up to 200 ºC during the powder coating process without losing their thermal properties or dimensions.
Recommended conditions during powder coating process |
This material has low thermal conductivity – less than 0.035 W/mK (DIN EN 12667). This, together with a suitable design system leads to sizeable reductions in thermal transmission.
Also, the material has a fire resistance classification of B-s-1-d0 in accordance with UNE-13501-1 regulations.
STACMID has a specialized technical department who will be happy to help you select the best solution in terms of design and materials, to give your systems the best possible thermal insulation.
