Microventilation for multipoint lock

A NEW system that allows ventilation for sliders with a multipoint lock.



According to the Building Construction Code (CTE in Spain), it is essential to integrate means of ventilation in to the home that facilitate ventilation between rooms.

Because of this requirement Stac has developed different micro-ventilation systems that adapt to the various types of building enclosures.

The new micro-ventilation system for multipoints consists of adapted multipoint locking points and a new lock which has the following characteristics: 

 LOCK WITH MICRO-VENTILATION 

  • A lock that has 3 positions in order to allow for micro-ventilation in multipoint locks.
  • Air permeability of the window in the micro-opening position according to UNE 12207:2000: class 1. 
  • A 4 mm micro-ventilation opening which can be adjusted to 6 mm using a 2.5 allen key.

MULTIPOINT LOCK 
The multipoints have the same features as the existing ones but additionally allow a handle displacement of 180º (3 positions).3 different sizes that adapt to all sash sizes: 600, 1000 & 1600 mm.Adjustable micro-ventilation just by substituting the lower lock with our innovative lock with micro-ventilation ref. 0520052.
