STAC is updating its SIRIUS line of door and window handles by incorporating the new SLIM design. The handle is envisaged as the ideal solution for installations of windows, balcony doors or sliding doors where the shutters do not leave the space necessary for the mounting of a traditional cremone or handle. Further, its versatility allows for conventional use as a standard handle in any type of opening existing in the door and window market.
It has been designed considering the elemental geometric composition, the simplicity of shapes, the proportions and the precision of the finishes, offering an attractive differential for architects and decorators through its elegant, discreet and timeless design. The new handle can be installed in doors, patio doors and windows with transmission case or multipoint (tilt & turn, side-hung openings, folding, sliding, …).
Minimalist and functional design
Clean and and sophisticated lines never go out of fashion. The handle is suitable for mounting in both interior and exterior openings. Its multiple fixation systems allow it to be used in all types of solutions, both state-of-the-art and more conventional.
SIRIUS Line
The design the handle favours integration with other products in the SIRIUS, POLARIS, ALTAIR, ATRIA and GAMMA families, maintaining the general aesthetic and dimensions. Special emphasis has also been placed on the ergonomics of use by removing nuisance edges for the user.
POLARIS Mechanism
Base transmission mechanism that stands out primarily for its metal components which provide high cycle strength and durability, certified through multiple internal and external tests. Its features include an integrated rotary trim ring that allows for a noticeable reduction in handle installation times.
Versatile product
The handle, in its door version*, has been designed for intensive use in buildings with high transit loads or of large dimensions such as public doors with door locks, where the handle has to constantly withstand all kinds of forces and blows..
Full range of finishes
There are ever more projects which try to stand out through their used of colour and finishes; the hardware can be painted in the same colour as the aluminium carpentry. The SIRIUS range is available in both black and white lacquer and the colours that make up the RAL chart**, a colour matching system that defines colours for paints, plastics and coatings. The lacquer process gives high resistance to the surface of the aluminium profiles, protecting them from natural corrosion.
Corrosion resistance
The zamak parts have been treated to ensure a corrosion resistance of more than 240 hours in saline mist chamber (SMC) in compliance with UNE-EN 1670 obtaining a GRADE 4 rating that provides high corrosion resistance and usability in environments with severe weather conditions.
