PEROXIDE CURED EPDM WHICH IS FULLY COMPATIBLE WITH STRUCTURAL SILICONES

STACPOL works with the leading european companies in the windows and doors industry sector, offering watertight solutions for individual projects. These projects include high-rise towers, skyscrapers and airport facades which need to pass seismic tests and withstand windspeeds up to 300 km/h.

Until now STACPOL has offered extruded silicone as the primary solution for joints in contat with structural silicones. Although this material is long-lasting and has excellent mechanical properties, it is very expensive. However, thanks to the efforts of STACPOL’s R&D engineers, in collaboration with the most prestigious rubber compund companies, we have come up with a peroxide cured EPMD which is fully compatible with structural silicones.⁽¹⁾

Principal advantages:

• Valid for facade applications in accordance with DIN 7863 regulations.
• Excellent compatability with structural silicones.
• Excellent weathering resistance, including in adverse weather conditions such as in the presence of chlorines (swimming pools), UV radiation, etc.
• Better price-quality ratio than silicone seals.
