ARIES DOOR HINGES

The door hinges have different characteristics to those used in window systems. During the life cycle of a door the hinges are subjected to an intensive use due to the high number of opening and closing cycles and type of usage to which they are continually subjected.

The 3-leaf ARIES door hinge has been successfully tested in accordance with UNE-EN 1191:2013 regulations to 1,000,000 cycles by the Applus+ testing laboratory. This is proof that STAC’s coplanar hinges are the perfect choice for applications requiring a high performance level, as required in high-frequency- of-use doors and large sized doors in buildings with high levels of public transit, including cases of involuntary or intentional violent usage..

The strengths of the ARIES hinges include:

Robustness. They can hang doors of up to 180 kg, making them the best hinge in their range of functionality in terms of size and performance.
Ideal for large and/or heavy doors and those with high usage levels.
Micrometric, independent adjustment in 3 dimensions. Adjustment can be performed with the door leaf installed.
Adjustable drilling template makes machining profiles easy.
Good behaviour against friction and wear of surfaces with relative movement.
Two mounting systems available to meet all installation requirements: on traditional mounting plates or direct installation on the profile using screws.

ECO COPLANAR COUNTERPLATES

The aluminium ECO counterplates have smaller dimensions that their predecessors which allows them to fit in a wider number of tubular profiles without the need to position the counterplates.

The counterplate design has been simplified to help reduce installation time and making them simpler to use whilst maintaining all the best characteristics of their predecessors.
The new counterplates open up new markets, strengthening our range and providing a greater range of uses.
The holes are centred longitudinally on the plate; therefore they do not have a position.

RPT COPLANAR COUNTERPLATES

The RPT counterplates have smaller dimensions that their predecessors which allows them to fit in a wider number of tubular profiles without the need to position the counterplates.

The new counterplates are made of injected plastic meaning they have greater insulating properties and they are suitable for profiles with a thermal break.
The counterplate design has been simplified to help reduce installation time and making them simpler to use whilst maintaining all the best characteristics of their predecessors.
Being injection pieces the precision is improved.

SELF-CENTERING SCREWS

Self-centering screws developed for the counterplates for the AIRES coplanar hinge without casing.

Suitable for the entire AIRES door hinge range.
The new screws eliminate the need to use the casing as a guide. This makes the installation of the hinges quicker and easier and also makes the set more long-lasting.
The use of the new self-centering screws together with the ARIES T hinges significantly reduces stock by allowing these ARIES hinges both quick and traditional fixing. This will lead to the gradual removal of the ARIES C hinges.
As there are less parts there is less chance of defects and assembly failures during installation.

ARIES 2-LEAF 40 mm HINGE

Hinge designed for use in tubular profiles or with reduced geometry. With just 400 mm between the screw they are perfect for steel profiles and other aluminium profiles with reduced dimensions.
