As part of our ongoing commitment to research, development and innovation, we offer fire resistant seals which prevent the spread of flames and the propagation of fire, reducing the emission of smoke, eliminating the generation of toxic gases and complying with the various European and international regulations.
Our fire resistant seals have been developed to comply with strict regulations such as EN 45545 on railroad safety. These materials are testing in certified external laboratories to ensure their compliance with the differing standards.
Furthermore, we employ the necessary technology to meet the needs of our clients and to offer them tailor-made solutions. The STACPOL team will help you choose the material which best meets your performance and Budget needs.
EUROCLASS SYSTEM
The Euroclass System leads to a new, more precise and technical system of classification and testing than the current system.
A1, the level covering those products which do not contribute to fire in any of its phases.
A2, the level covering those products with very limited calorific potential which, in a fully developed fire, make no significant contribution to the fire and which do not contribute to the development of the fire.
B, C, D and E, levels covering combustible products with increasing energy potential.
F, level covering those products which do not meet any of the above requirements or whose specifications have not been submitted to testing.
s1, covering cases with low smoke production and slow smoke propagation.s2, covers cases with medium opacity.
s3, corresponds to high production and rapid opacity.
d0, where no flaming droplets are formed.
d1, when they are produced but for less than 10 seconds duration.
d2, all other cases.
