TILT-BEFORE-TURN SEQUENCER

SOLUTION FOR OPENING LIMITATION

STAC introduces a new tilt-before-turn sequencer for a market where minimalist styles and simplicity of shapes are the trend. The sequencer allows the opening positions of windows to be limited and can be used with all cremones and keyless handles.

The sequencer is useful in areas where you wish to limit unauthorised persons from opening windows whilst still allowing authorised persons to open the window using a tool or key.

EFFECTIVE CONFIGURATIONS

The new tilt-before-turn sequencer allows the user to have different configurations depending on the position of the handle.

  • At 90º the window is in the tilt position allowing any user to tilt or close the window without using a key but stopping the window from being fully opened.
  • At 180º the window is fully unblocked allowing it to be turned open.

To sequence these movements, access to the mechanism is needed. A Torx 20 driver makes the sequencer a more secure mechanism.

EXTRA SECURITY
  • In install position A the moving part has been designed as an extra locking point, granting the mechanism extra functionality.
  • In position D, the “recommended secure position”, the installation of the logical action sequencer provides added security as it is in a hard-to-reach area.

HIGH CORROSION RESISTANCE

The zamak pieces have been treated to guarantee a resistance to corrosion of more than 240 hours in a salt fog chamber in compliance with the UNE-EN 1670 standard, obtaining a grade 4 classification that gives a high resistance to corrosion and the possibility of use in environments with severe climatic conditions.
